Easy_WP_Affiliate Plugin
My last post was about a plug in for those of you who wanted to run your own affiliate program from your own blog.
I hope you took a serious look at that, because the advantage of having your own affiliate program cannot be stressed enough. It’s one of the best ways to generate extra sales and income for your products.
Now not everyone wants to be the owner, a lot of people just want to find products to promote and some people, believe you me earn a damn good living promoting other peoples products as affiliates. One of the biggest problems affiliate marketers face is getting their links hijacked. Some people do this so they can get the product at a discounted price by buying through their own link. This is more typical for Clickbank products than any other affiliate links. I believe Clickbank are looking into this, but I wouldn’t hold my breath whilst they do.
So we as affiliate marketers have to find alternative methods to ensure we get rewarded with the sales we bring to the merchants and product vendors. How, well it’s not easy. Some link cloakers don’t track very well at all, some anti virus programs stop them working and some other affiliate marketers have already cookie stuffed the site. (I’ll not give too much detail on that one it’s a bit complicated and I wouldn’t want to tell anyone how to do it anyway, if you cookie stuff you can get stuffed).
A fellow internet marketer has had a little product on the market for just over a year. I can’t believe I’ve only just found it. I wish I had found it sooner because it would have saved me so much money that I have wasted on other products that clearly don’t work correctly, effectivley or efficiently. What is this product? well it’s a wordpress plugin and it’s called Easy_WP_Affiliate. Simple title for a simple program.
Easy_WP_Affiliate is quick and easy to install and as they say works right out of the box. ** How To Use It **
It’s actually very simple. All you have to do once you have uploaded the plugin is to return to the admin man page and you will see, located at the end of the dashboard a new section with the words Easy_WP_Affiliate ont he main menu links (look just under the settings menu item)
On the link called “Easy_WP_Affiliate” Simply click on that link and you will see an intro page. When you do that, you will then see 3 sub menu links (Add, Edit, Delete) So, to add a new record, click on ‘add’ and submit the form. That’s it, you now have a live record with a keyword, maximum number of times that word can be hyperlinked and the associated affiliate url for that keyword!
Should you wish to edit that record at any point, click on the ‘edit’ sub menu link. If you wish to delete the record, simply click on the ‘delete’ link
and you can delete it instantly! PLEASE NOTE: The delete method cannot be reversed so ONLY do it if you are
SURE you wish to delete that record for good. Granted, you can always re-add it later but I just had to warn you.
That’s it! now what could be simpler than that. No wonder they named it Easy_WP_Affiliate and the price? well that’s an absolute steal at just $9.99 think on it this way. One affiliate product sale at $27 that earns you a commission of 50% has just paid for this plugin already.
One more amazing fact about this Easy_WP_Affiliate plugin is that you can install and use it on as many sites as you own or have registered to you. So if you have 10 blogs on different niches, you can have this up and running for less than a $1 per site.
